Are you installing a "Daughter Alarm"?

Same as a theft alarm, but alerts you only when your daughter is about to drive the car.

All too true. However, I have a feeling that Brian will just be using the "foot in the ass" alarm system. :P

Well, they dropped off the parts cabby in the front yard, and with no key, no swazall blades it was a pain in the arse and 45 minutes of towing the car around with the Pathfinder to finally get it turned around and into the carport. I finally had to jack the coresupport to get the front tires off the ground and my son and I used the 3 ton jack to jockey the car into place.

Some of the highlights were the son getting the car off the concrete and rolling backwards in to a tree, then the wife breaking my come-along after pulling the car sideways.... But the car is finally in a parked area. I will have to get sawzall blades to cut the lock out of the steering wheel Let me tell you trying to break the lock with a 5 pound mini-sledge and a Klien screwdriver like they do in the movies..... BULL SHIT.

I didn't try my sliding hammer and that may be a thought..... for later.

They are all parked and getting ready to be worked on.....
It seams the Body shop broke the seat adjuster on the Greenie, but that is minor, then I have to re-run the hoses in the hood and straighten out the egg crate and clean the snot outta it.

why do I still see a white TRF sticker on the greenie :D

Looking good Brian. An yea, the locks are a lot tougher then you would think. I've broken steering locks back in the day with brute force on the steering wheel, I tried that once with a VW, not happening.

Brian the "fleet" looks good. Are you sure you really want to part out the white?

Because the day I was to stick the new one on it the daughter wrecked it, Then I didn't want to do it because if it was totaled... now that I got hte car back I started peeling the trf logo off of it, and I'll be damned that I can't remember where I placed the sticker to keep it safe... maybe it is in the boot bag. I will have to check later as daughter number 3 is moving out today hurrrah... but still can't drive till I get all my conditions met. I am not driving halfway across Gwinnette to cart her ass to and from work, so the onus is on her.

There was only one place that had the lower ball joint in town. So instead of ripping apart the white cabby for the lower a-frame (horribly mangled) the tie-rod popped right out, and the ball joint popped out beautiously, and I don't have to replace the tie-rod end the hub and bearing appears to be fine. So Lower a-frame ball joint, and bushing kit is all I need.... besides the rim and tire. Then alignment.. Total damages looks to be in the neighborhood of 300 bucks.

Well I got it repaired today, and test drove it, it is still in alignment.... after I get the new rim and wheel for it I will have it re-aligned... probably at the end of next week. The wheel bearing is good, and there is but a little out of balance tire indication.. Since she cleaved off enough of the rim....
