ok I have 2 problems here...
1... I can not tighten my top... There is so much wind noise with the top up.. the cabin is quieter with the top DOWN!! However, I tightened the hooks the other day... I was unable to get the top down... My boss came out because he saw me fighting with it, poped it open with a screw driver. But even that morning with the hook tighter there was still SO MUCH NOISE!!! any thoughts?
2... me top is not right. When I put it down... I have to click the driver side in first of the top will not click down at all... when I put the top up the hooks do not line up with the holes... I have to putt it to the right EVERY TIME!! any thoughts?
Top problems...

There are several other adjustments for the top, including the Ecentrig bolts on the top rails. This adjustment fits the top to the windows to provide a seal.
They are shown tn the Bently manual. I'll see if I can get some pictures of mine.

top is out of alignment. While you can certainly do it yourself, this is the one and only area where I will tell you to take it to someone that know's what the hell they are doing. Not sure what it is, but a $900 top isn't something I want to slip and tear. Just my $.02

If the hooks aren't lining up with the A-pillar brackets when you put the top up and the top isn't locking into place as it should when you put it down (i.e., at the back of the car you should be able to push down on the top and get both sides to <click> at the same time), my guess is that the frame is slightly bent. Open it up half way and take a long hard look at the top frame, including the two top struts which could also be the culprit. If any part of it is bent, adjusting the eccentrics and the J-hooks won't help.

The wind noise isn't just because the j-hooks aren't tight. It is also because the top is not fitting flat on the windshield seal.
with the top slightly open 1/2 inch does the seam at the front edge of yout top have a 45 degree angle to it going down? If not then you can fully open the top, and remove the trim strip 3 screwws at a time on the front edge and pull the top material up to get the 45 degree curl to the lip that points up wieh fully opened. retighten the 3 and undo the next 3 for all 8 screws. This will deffinatly reduce wind noise....
