That is why I have started the question, as I am not going to be able to get to it till Wed at the earliest. I figured that the manifold seal is about all it can be. And it is soooo hard to view that somebitch, Since I replaced just about everything as planned for the gasket swap, I only have a few suspects, As my hearing isn't as good as it used to be, I think I still hear a vac leak.

Heh, the funny thing is, I thought about suggesting that, but then I thought, "Nah, it's obvious, he must have checked that out." ;)

These batch-fire systems can be tricky. Enough fuel crosses over from one runner to another, especially at idle, that a disconnected injector doesn't always result in an obvious dead cylinder.

On a sad note the strut bar I got interferes with the throttle linkage only in reverse. as in sticks........ So I removed it.. but it runs great, has good temp, and oil pressure.... tomorrow I change the oil and do some cleaning.. Gettin ready for BAP.. now should I take one? or two.....................

Well, you were right about the vacc leak anyway. Glad you got it solved. On a side note, why is the strut bar only an issue when the car is in reverse? Just the reverse tourque of the enigne causing the throttle linkage to hit the bar?

Yep, the engine torques to the front and bind the linkage... Sooooo I will have to modify where the linkage mounts by lowering the holder on the valve cover...
