Hey,
im from UK and just bought my first VW, and i love it to pieces.
heres a pic, its a 95 Rolling Stones edtion 1.8
got it off my cusion for a mere £700 with 60k on the clock:)

i really need a rubbing strip for the RH door, really looks ugly without it, cheapest ive found is from a scrapyard at £25!

anyway keep up the good work with the forum etc!

A "Stones" edition, thats cool as hell. All the really cool editions are acrossed the pond I swear. Just out of curiosity, what seperates the "stones" Edition from a Plain-Jane Cabrio?

Very nice car, hope to hear more about it as we don't see very many folks with the MKIII'3 around these parts. :D

lol, umm it has rolling stones stitched into all the seats and other places like gearnob, and the obvious suttle things like clear indicators, clear fogs, gti rear lights, white dials etc. bla bla bla.

Very nice. Sounds like my kind of trim package. Doesn't hurt that I'm a mild Stones fan to boot.

wheels came with the car when i bought it, there not standard by vw. just wacked some 17s on

Very, very nice. It does seem that they get some wacky marketing packages in Europe. Doesnt hurt that Cabby one bit, though, she is a beaut!
