Post by robaubry »

Right people this is my first time doing this so go easy.

i have a mk1 golf convertible and i am looking to get the rubber seal that go's from the door over the top where it touches the roof and back down the other side where the back window is.

its knackered on mine, saying that it had had it on the other golf i have had too.

That is the B-pillar seal, they are hard to find. Ebay is about your best bet.

Yes as matter of fact, I have the Luck o'the Irish...everything I touch turns to fertilizer of the bovine variety.

yep and a very common problem on our cabby's as well. Scour all the VW forums you can find, scour e-bay...that's your best bet all right. I got mine from a guy over at the vwdov.ca for $50.
You don't want to order them from a dealer (yes they can still get them) as they are around $100 each side last time I checked.
I just know shit..........
