I don't particularly care for that kind of two-tone, especially on a Cab.

In Europe, the Bel Air model came from the factory two-toned, which I think suits the Cabs better:

Kammy-the way those two-tones appear, that is exactly the other way he was talking about painting it.

I've still not made up my mind yet. The family does not like it, and a couple people have said that the Sapphire Mettallic color was too nice to mess with :? Still, though...I look at the p-shop and get a lil giddy

Why don't you leave the top half the sapphire metallic and do the bottom half in another darker color like in your pic? That way you get the best of both worlds. Plus I have never seen a two tone cabby before so it would be pretty original. Out of curiosity what color is your top? I've never seen a pic with the top up.

The top is grey. So I guess with the top up it would actually be tri toned

You never see it with the top up because of several reasons:

* The top is the least attractive thing about my car.
* It's a Cabiolet-why would I put the top up? Then it would just be a Rabbit 8)
* The top is the least attractive thing about my car

BTW, here you go. This is the first day we brought her home:

Dual-round badgeless, keep the color as-is, drop it (if it's really needed)
