i have nitto450 extremes 205/45/16 on mine, and i love'em!!!
they stick to the road like glue.
i used to have 14" oz's on my cabby and they had yokohama 195/60/14 they were good tires....but nothing like the nitto's

not sure how the pricing is on the nitto's, but if you ever want to look into a different tire that just as sticky, have a look at the toyo proxies. A buddy of mine had a set on his Honda, so we swapped rims (he's running 17's) for a few hours and I drive my rocco around like a mad man. Couldn't get the toyo's to break loose no matter what I did. Only draw back is that once they warm up, you will constantly hear the sound of small rocks and such hitting your wheel wells as the rubber literaly picks up everything.

and speaking of good low cost tires, my buddy has kumho ecsta's on his mustang. he really likes them, mustang guy's aren't really into handling but he says in a straight line they really hook up and go! i'm thinking when my nitto's wear out i'm going to try the kumho's.

Time to fix that problem
Seriously, my Cabby is soooo much quieter than the hubby's Rocco, but right now any road noise would be welcome since that would mean it was *on the road*!!
