the VWMS CIS is a motorsports replacement fuel distributor for CIS equipped cars (pre-1990 VWs). It offers greater air and fuel flow.
the VWMS unit on the left, and stock 84-89 Cabby, 83-84 GTI and 83-84 GLI fuel distributor on the right
The VWMS distributor also removes the Lamda equipment from the equation, so O2 sensor and WOT switches can be safely removed without any side effect.
this will be my "fuel management"
ignition will be standard

well, Fuel Management
ignition can stay as is without vacuum advance
here's a decent link that somewhat describes what i am doing http://forums.vwsport.com/viewtopic.php?t=33 but not with the Digi1 from a corrado G60... I'm keeping the Factory setup because i like the reliability and easy repair of the CIS system

200 at the pavement
toss in the drivetrain losses and you're at 230ish
remember, the low compression 1.8 that we have was only 95hp/105ft.lbs at the crank out of the box. For a car much lighter than your GTI or SVT, it was sufficient...
lil weekend turbo work, and the cabby can be putting down about 50hp MORE than they 337 in stock form....
