If the Fuse isn't blown, then try this.
Carefully remove the cigarette/ashtray from the car. Pry at the top lightly, then the sides.
Disconnect the power and the light.
Remove the lighter from the socket and you will see:
On the sides you will see the ground fingers
The power clip:
Using a dental pick pry out the fingers both of them.
For the power clip, use a flat blade to push the fingers back in place DO NOT OVER BEND.
Reconnect the power, and the light and replace in the car.
If the socket is too gone, then you can get replacements at most auto parts stores or the junk yard of your choice.

I finally got around to ordering a replacement lighter assembly. It didn't have the light/green part. Is there any way to remove this piece and reuse it?

You have to unclip it while pushing it out from the rear. Then if your new one will fit inside of the old.....CR500Rider wrote:I finally got around to ordering a replacement lighter assembly. It didn't have the light/green part. Is there any way to remove this piece and reuse it?

I really need to invest in more batteries, although I could try and connect my battery charger to the outlet adapter my husband bought for the cars in case of an emergency. I've got 2 18350 and an 18490 for my Provari Mini, two iTaste VV v3's and one MVP2 in the house.Briano1234 wrote:If the Fuse isn't blown, then try this.
