Leaking Power Steering Pump
So I just uncovered my triple white for a little summer fun, gave it a good clean and ran it through inspection which it passed after sitting up for a year! Sadly I noticed that it's bleeding a little power steering fluid from the pump. I'm only going to be driving it for a couple of weeks before I have to store it again as I'm moving. I've ALWAYS fixed any problems I've found with this car, but I'm not sure I need to get involved with changing this pump for two weeks of driving as long as I keep an eye on the oil level?? Any opinions? I know it seems kind of lazy, but I'm pretty busy getting everything ready to move. I've been driving a 2003 Bug for a year, and I can't tell you how happy I was to get back in the cab!

Re: Leaking Power Steering Pump
Use some SeaFoam automatic tranny/ power steering conditioner... It can rejuvenate the Seals, otherwise replacement is about your only option.

You could take the belt off and just drive it without P/S for a while.
