Since we dont really have a tech-how to section, i guess i just put this here.

This is borrowed from George who borrowed it form Neil at this site:

i changed my oil pump not too long ago, it was actually really simple, the hardest part is getting to those damn bolts on the oil pan =] i bought a new one from autozone, they told me the pump would be $40 and the gasket would be another $40. well i only bought the pump, and when i got it home and opened it up, they screwed up and gave me a pump with the gasket on it for $40. made me happy.

On the topic of the "How To's", I found that the Vintage Wattercooled site has some great 'How to' pages that I have used. I used it to clean out my fuel distributer. It gave me detailed step by step instructions, with pics, for doing it. Also for fixing my broken odometer.

Bookmark it, they come in handy.
