Having a vacuum cleaner giving me fits.
1. Too cheap to buy a new one.
2. Have Skill and tools.
Ok, my vacuum was making a horrible racket, and you are wondering why I did an off topic thread.
Well you see, I took the thing apart, cleaned everything disassembled the motor cleaned and lubed the bearings.
Took the Air Pump apart and put it all back together and it ran really sweet, Like on Turo boost.
When I looked at the HEPA filter on the output of the motor, aha, it was plugged with all kinds of crap.
So being the cheap bastard that I are, and not wanting to go to the store.... I took my Emissions Fram Rabbit air cleaner and
Cut it up to fit..... Worked really nice as it fit in to the existing frame sweetly.
So My Vacuum works like it is on Steroids, and I can make almost any VW part work for some other purpose.
LOL, now if I could just get the Wife to use it.
