I am looking at strut inserts and there are all sorts. KYB, Sachs, Bilstien $$$, APX, Monroe, etc.
I am looking for a good value that has medium to high performance but won't break my pocket book.
What kind of recommendations would you guys have on strut inserts to help this unexperienced Cabbie owner with?
Ebay and Import Specialists seem to be pretty close in price. Any other suppliers would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Green Cabbie

I went the Bilstein/H&R Sport kit route from http://www.parts4vws.com/ . I got the inserts rather than the entire assembly... no sense in buying something my car doesn't need.

Re: What abt Front end Struts?
For Posh Bunny I bought an FK 60/40 lowering kit from Concept 1 in Calgary.
It consisted of the inserts and springs for the front and struts and springs for the rear.
I'm happy with the ride they give.
Topless Bunny is a little diffrent story, I went with an OEM stile replacment on the front and rear to maintain the stock nature of the car.
In the end, the FK was cheaper than the stock set.
