True, there arn't a lot of wires, but ther eason for the rewiring is that "bubba" has already tried to rewire the cars before mu friend bought them. So, this isn't a clean up the wiring kinda thing, this is making a new wiring harness from scratch kinda thing.
As for the MKIV comment, good thing I don't like them, that way I'll never have to deal with them.

Damn, jose does a better job the bubba! Bubba just like to twist the wires together, electrical tape is for those "fancy" types I guess. Not to mention that bubba will take power from anything handy, like wiring the radio to get it's power from the oil temp gage
