I don't know a lot about CIS-E, but if I suspected the O2 sensor I'd unplug it and see if the car ran better open-loop. If it does, probably the sensor or its associated wiring. I had an intermittent short in the O2 sensor wiring on my car and I went round and round for a while trying to figure out...

i think my o2 sensor might be the culprit, it seems to be running rich, so much so that when the car is warmed up it is very hard to start, like its just dumping fuel into the cylinders

according to my tach its idling about 1000 rpm, so yeah its a little high...im trying to figure out a remedy for it....i drove it around the block this morning and its got some balls for sure

i figured out the problem, and i felt pretty stupid....lol
i forgot to hook up the two vacuum lines on the intake elbow...the jetta lives

Good pressure at the inlet on the fuel distributor? Have to assume so since it also feeds the C/S valve. I have seen the mechanical injectors seize after sitting awhile. Do you have another set to try? im using a known good set from a running car If your pumps are working and your injectors are not...

Have you testet for power at the in tank pump with key on cranking or running? I have seen these relays do this very thing. Main pump has power, in-tank does not. it fires now, but only because the cold start valve is the only thing getting fuel...none of the other injectors are.....i replaced all 4 injectors and fuel lines, i think i need to tear the fuel distributor apart and clean in Probably has "Varnished gas residue". You might try spraying t...

I'd a done thunked that you would of jumpered that damyam relay by now. That is one of the first things I did in my 81 Diesel :D :D :D :D :D :D it is now :) i am having a problem with the brand spanking new starter though. i disconnected the coil and removed the spark plugs to pre spin the motor so...

Probably won''t have to do that, but if you want to then post the numbers up, probably have most of them here, save you a bunch of $. I save them out of every car I scrap.
