Followup.

FYI
Consulted a very knowledgable VW mech here in NC. He deduced that it was the pump on the conv motor that wasnt working. It wasnt pumping the fluid through.

So off to the junkyard or the "re-furb" yard, to replace the motor and pump

Well that didnt work. After filling up the fluid and moving the top up and down to get some if it in the system the top still doesnt retract or extend automatically. I dont wanna take it to a dealer or a mechanic :x but I might have to. Well at least we can still take the top down and put it back up...

The fluid or oil in there was below min, so Im guessing thts what it is. Im gonna pick up some of whatever it is and try and refill it myself. Any hints on how to d...

Wifey had the same problem when we first got the Cab. New weather stripping ( or seal or whatever the hell the dealer put on), fixed it and eliminated alot of the wind noise too.

I only got a glimpse of you rims (NICE!) and everything else. You got any more pictures shwing the entire car?

Roccos are badass. I remember one, dont know the year and dont know the mods, but it was loud and it was embarrasing some lightly modded civics at Rockinham Dragway. I think he was hittin low 15's easily and may have had a high 14's run. May not seem like much, but I thought Sirroco 16v could hit hi...

I have Pirellis P6 235/45/17 once more on my Toyota and on the Cab some plain old michellins, which Im witing to get bald so i can drift it.

Exhaust sound bytes?

Anybody have sound bytes of their after market exhausts? Tryin to convince the wifey that an exhausts, rims and some suspension mods wouldnt kill her. She thinks that all after market exhausts will sound like rice rocket fart cannons.

Definitely like the new 17" rims better. DO you notice a big change in ride quality or acceleration?
